You are what you eat.
You are what you read.
By changing what you read, you can change the way that you think.
Check out this wild story ⬇️
When Danesha Raghulal’s grandfather was 14, he left his house in India with nothing and literally swam to Sri Lanka.
There, he built a massive textile factory and returned a wealthy man.
Danesha’s father started a huge baking company in India, where they make bread, wheat, flour, cakes, etc, sort of like the Hostess of India.
Danesha is now helping to run and grow her father’s business and even had to take over as the owner at a young age due to a neurological issue her father experienced.
At ages 8-10, she told me that her father would have her read India’s economic newspaper, and then summarize it back to him.
While there were a lot of words and terms she didn’t understand, Danesha did her best to read and learn about what everything meant.
Over time, she gained an understanding of the financial metrics behind the businesses featured in the newspaper and started to see trends in what helped them grow or fail.
I don’t know about you, but as a dad, I think this is the coolest thing ever.
“Even if My kids don’t want to go into business specifically, I think there’s a ton of value in learning how to understand a topic deeply.”
