GRIT, GIVING, AND SUCCESS WITH JAMES ANDERSON

“The best form of charity isn’t to just give someone money, but to instead give them an opportunity to go make it for themselves.”
Anyone is happy to get free money, but that only lasts as quickly as they can spend it.
Teaching someone how to make money, however, is a blessing that will last someone a lifetime and will bring them much more happiness.
— Most lottery winners declare bankruptcy after 3-5 years of wealth.
— Most trust-fund kids will squander family inheritances.
But those who take the time to learn how to create and manage wealth and earn it for themselves will always have enough.
In my podcast with James Anderson, he told me that his first business was a dental practice.
Over the years he grew it from one practice to nine, and he told me that the most fulfilling aspect of that was how many jobs he could create for good people.
Fast-forward a few years, after many more companies and massive exits, his favorite part of the journey is still the careers and jobs he created, instead of the millions he made.
If someone is abundant and seeks to give and create value for others no matter what, then opportunity will always present itself, and wealth will follow as a natural byproduct of their service.
